Tamdhu Winter Fruits Port Wood Finish Scotch Whisky by The Cooper's Choice

The Cooper's Choice range of single cask whiskies from Scotland's finest distilleries are releases from the Family owned Independent Bottlers; The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. The range is a homage to the passion and skill of the Coopers, the craftsmen, who build the barrels for maturation of Scotch Whisky. The range focuses on the impact of maturation in oak, and includes several obscure and rare wood finishes.

 A single cask release with NAS of Tamdhu Speyside single malt scotch whisky, stage-named "Winter Fruits". After an initial maturation in an American Oak cask this delightfully fruity whisky was finished in a single ex-Port wood cask, adding bright notes of apples, blackcurrant jam and spices with an underlying port wine note, roasted nuts and winter berries.

The single cask (#9522) produced only 762bottles, with the Australian allocation being 24 bottles.
