Tormore 13 Year Old 2010 Old Particular Scotch Whisky
Since 1948 Douglas Laing and Co have been trailblazers in the Independent Bottling scene. Innovators in packaging and liquid, never afraid to bottle casks of unique and distinct character. The Old Particular range from Douglas Laing represent bottlings of 'particularly' highly sought after casks from across Scotland. Bottled with no-chill filtration or colour additions at higher ABV's.
This 13 year old scotch whisky was distilled in 2010 at the Speyside Tormore distillery before maturing in a refill whisky cask before a lengthy finish in ex-Spanish Tempranillo wine cask. Prior to bottling the whisky was proofed back to 48.4%ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added.
Expect a honey'd malt, ripe cherries and juicy strawberries followed by hints of leather, allspice and charred oak.
