Cadenhead Heaven Hill 12 Year Old Bourbon

Wm Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 but since 1972 they have been based in Campbeltown.

Cadenhead’s specialise in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

Cadenhead’s Original Collection Range are curious vattings bottled at 46% ABV.

Heaven Hill is a large distillery (approx. 98M litres) based in Louisville, Kentucky.  Founded in 1935, Heaven Hill from its inception has remained independent. The mash bill for Heaven Hill has a considerable portion of wheat in it: 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley.

Cadenhead notes read, “The appealing sweetness is evident from the nose and carries on consistently through the dram in the form of tropical fruit notes. The finish reminded the panel of a piña colada cocktail”.”.
