Caol Ila 7 Year Old North Star Scotch Whisky Aussie Exclusive

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

For the series 18 releases North Star have bottled a wee ex-Port octave of 7 year old Caol Ila single malt scotch whisky exclusively for the Australian market. The octave only producing 60 bottles at natural cask strength of 56.9% ABV.

Tasting notes:

Nose: The delicate smell of welders canteen. 

Palate: Ash, soot and medicinal loveliness.

Finish: Long & winey, a great balance.
